When I had a new shower installed I asked what product was recommended for cleaning the glass. This is what was suggested and it does an excellent job. An added plus is that it doesn't contain ammonia.

I saw this in action, after new windows and mirrors were installed. The professional was using it. It's great! It also doesn't ''bother'' you if you have reactions to some chems.

As for efficacy, this product is great. I just got a sample can in the mail today and tried it out. It works fast, is easy, has no streaks, lots of shine and I like that it does not drip down. It is pretty fun to use too. Unfortunately it stinks. It smells like cheap hairspray. So now my hands smell like it too, even after washing. I mentioned the smell to my husband and he was like "is that what that smell is?" For everyday use, I'll probably stick to a vinegar and water spray with a microfiber cloth that does the job almost as well for a fraction of the cost. The shine is pretty amazing with this stuff, but I wish they would fix the awful smell.

To be honest, this is the easiest way to get your windows clean. I used Sprayway Glass Cleaner at the kennel I work for today, it effortlessly removed muddy paw prints and nose art from the windows and doors along with normal window grime, no streaks, no elbow grease. I didn't use a roll of paper towels to catch run off or have to re-do streaky areas (my boss uses newspaper along with this product to clean windows,I used paper towel) The windows sparkle! I just ordered a case for my own use at home.
